Craps
Craps is one of the most exciting and watched games in the casinos both online and offline. Craps is an easy
game when you are looking for some late night excitement or to make some money. To many gamblers, craps is

the
game.

Craps is traditionally a very loud and boisterous game, generating excitement and animated responses from both
players and viewers. Everyone is standing around the table yelling and screaming

Craps has some of the best odds that you can find in gambling, both online and in offline casinos. Unfortunately,
many gamblers avoid the game, believing it to be too difficult to understand. In actuality, the rules and play of
craps are very simple and easy to learn – it is the wide variety of betting options that can confuse a beginner.

Rules of play

You can be the shooter, you can be a spectator, but either way you can place a bet.
As spectator you can bet for either the shooter or the house to win

Your first toss in a round of Craps is called the
Come Out roll.

If you roll a
7 or 11, you win and the round is over before it started. Try again.

If you roll a
2, 3, or 12 that's a Craps and you lose. Try again.

Any other number becomes the
Point. The purpose is to get a point.

The purpose of the Come Out roll is to set the Point, which can be any of
4, 5, 6, 8,
9
or 10. These numbers are not as difficult as you might think to ‘roll’.

The Dealer places a puck marked "
On" above the Point number printed on the table.
When you are online this number could blink or be highlighted when it is the Point.

What is the object of playing craps?

The basic objective in the wild game of Craps is for the shooter, the player, and the dice roller, to win by tossing
the Point again before he tosses a seven. That seven is called
Out 7 to differentiate it from the seven on the
Come Out roll. The seven on the come out roll means you automatically lose. When the dice are rolled and it is
the point number that is rolled then the shooter and his fellow bettors (who chose this number) win and the
round is over.

If the shooter tosses Out 7 with the roll of the dice then they lose and the round is over.

If the toss is neither the Point nor Out 7, the round continues and the dice keep rolling until one or the other
comes out and bets are continually made in the
process.

Betting

PASS BETS/DON’T PASS BETS
Both the Pass bet and the Don’t Pass bet are wagered before the Come Out Roll.

With the Pass bet, you are betting that you will roll the Point again before you roll an Out 7.  Pass bets win at
even odds, 1:1.

You will win on the Come Out roll if the dice show 7 or 11. Win on any subsequent roll if you roll the Point.
You will lose on the Come Out roll if the dice are Craps (2, 3, or 12). Lose on any subsequent roll if it is an Out 7

The term
come bets and do not come bets are the same as pass and don’t pass bets, just that they use
different terms. These are also the terms used for bets that are placed while the game is going on. Online you
most likely do not have this bet just the pass bet and do not pass bet.

The Don’ Pass bet  is just the opposite of a pass bet. You are betting the shooter won’t be able to make the
numbers on the dice that he or she wants. Don’t Pass bets also win at even odds, 1:1

You win if the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12 and you will win if shooter rolls a 7 beforerolling the point.
You will lose on the don’t pass bet when the come out roll of the dice is a 7 or an 11.

Pass and Don’t Pass bets are also known as Come bets and Don’t Come bets

ODDS BETS

An Odds bet is a backup bet on a Pass/Don't Pass/Come bets/Don’t Come bet already on the table. They're
usually limited to two or three times (2x or 3x) the original bet and pay off at true odds: the payoff truly reflects
the probability of the dice's roll and there's no additional house edge involved. Since there is no
additional advantage given to the house, the odds bet is the best wager you can make in the game of craps.

Unlike original Pass/Don't Pass/Come bets/Don’t Come bets, unresolved Odds bets can be removed from the
table during play.

Pass Odds/Come Odds pay 2:1 on a roll of 4 or 10, 3:2 on 5's and 9's, and 6:5 on 6's and 8's.
Don't Pass Odds/Don't Come Odds pay 1:2 on a roll of 4 or 10, 2:3 on 5's and 9's, 5: 6 on 6's and 8's.

Note: Casinos round down uneven odds, so be sure you are betting the correct amount relative to the odds. For
example if a bet pays 3:2 or 6:5 be sure you are betting in multiples of 3 or 6.

MISC. BETS
The Place Bet is where you are betting that a particular number will roll before a 7 does, or vice versa. These
include the Place, Buy, Lay and Lose bets, the Big 6 and Big 8, and finally the Hard 4, Hard 6, Hard 8 and Hard
10.

The Proposition bets is where you bet that the next roll will be a specific number. These include the 2, 3, 7, 11,
and 12 bets, the Any Craps bet, the Field, Hop and Horn bets.

The odds against you here vary from mediocre to terrible which is why most seasoned  players ignore almost all
of them.
