A Typical Multi-Hand Blackjack Table
Rules:
1) The decks are shuffled after each game.
2) Blackjack always beats other hands with a value of 21.
3) The dealer stands on all hand totaling 17 and draws on all hands totaling 16.
4) If two cards have the same denomination, for example 5 and 5 or Queen and Queen, the
player can split them. His hand is separated into two separate hands and a bet equivalent to
his original bet is placed on the second hand.
5) If the player splits either a pair of aces or a pair of ten value cards and then draws a 10
value card, it is not counted as blackjack, though it has a value of 21.
6) Resplitting is not permitted.
7) You can double when your hand totals 9, 10 or 11, but not after a split. You are dealt one
card and then your hand must stand. Your doubling bet must be equal to your original bet.
8) You can take insurance if the dealer's first card is an ace. Insurance costs half your
original bet.
